The questions that decide the specification — size, timber, heater output and what ships in the crate.
Can the room be built to the size we have?
Yes, and it is the normal case rather than an exception. Cabin bodies and panels are cut to your drawing rather than to a stock size list, so the corner you actually have decides the dimensions instead of the other way round.
Send the cabin type and quantity, a drawing or just length, width and height in millimetres, the supply on site as it will really be wired, and the destination.
Which timber should we specify?
Five timbers are held in stock and cut to the drawing: Western red cedar, hemlock, Finnish pine and European spruce, abachi, and carbonized abachi.
Cedar for humid or coastal sites and rooms where the wood is meant to be seen; hemlock for cabin bodies, frames and bench structure; pine and spruce for volume panelling and budget-led orders; abachi for bench faces and backrests, because it has the lowest heat conductivity of anything we stock; carbonized abachi for wet rooms and high-use commercial work.
How do we work out the heater size?
From the room rather than the model name. As a working rule a dry room takes roughly 1 kW per square metre of floor area, and a far infrared room roughly 0.8–0.9 kW per square metre.
The figure is confirmed against the room as it will be built, and the model is fixed on the fabrication drawing.
What is in the standard fit-out?
Dry rooms are supplied as standard with a wooden bucket and ladle, a sand timer, a thermo-hygrometer, sauna stones, a vapour-proof wall light and the sauna heater.
Far infrared cabins are supplied with low-EMF or full-spectrum emitter options. Negative-ion purification, computer control and interior lighting are specified per order.
What is the minimum order?
One unit. A single cabin for a house or a villa is a valid order — the minimum is one unit, not a container, and there is no distributor-only tier above it.
Sauna accessories are the exception in this category: they carry a 50-piece minimum.
Mixed orders are the normal case: a cabin, its cladding, its heater and its fittings for one project are supplied together on one packing list.
How long does production take?
About 40 days, counted from drawing approval rather than from the enquiry. The clock starts when you approve the fabrication drawing.
